30-Day Miracle Challenge

I joined in with Dr. Perkus yesterday for the inauguration of the 30-Day Miracle challenge where we dream big, set goals, and use the Aroma Freedom Technique to eliminate our limiting beliefs and mindsets.

One of my action steps is to blog the 30-day journey.

In yesterday's group call, Dr. Perkus led us to identify our dreams in 5 main areas of life…what would our ideal life be like if there were no restrictions of time or money on us.  It was such an empowering process, and I loved having time in the class for this exercise.

From this, we were encouraged to pick one of the dreams in one of the categories that most resonated with our hearts in that moment. Now, one thing I've learned in my own AFT journey is how easy it is to want to choose something that I think I "should" work on.  That voice of obligation, while it can seem wise, is not how God is leading me in this season, however.  He has very clearly spoken to me about following delight instead of duty and obligation.

So, I looked at my list and chose my big, audacious money goal. This is a hard one for me to even write about.  When I think about sharing it here, my heart clenches inside. Why? In part because I was raised in a culture that said that if you are a spiritual leader (i.e. pastor, church leader/employee, etc.) you shouldn't make a lot of money or even want a lot of money because it might distract you from your calling and your work. You, my readers, may judge me for my goal (fear of what people think popping up right here). The irony is that some of the people making that decision for my family in my growing up years were the wealthiest members of the church my dad pastored.  As a result, I grew up believing that it was dangerous for me to have a lot of money and to want a lot of money.

I've already been releasing many of my limiting beliefs about money, resources, and abundance, but I was a bit surprised that the goal I felt led to set wasn't a little more spiritual in nature.  But who's to say abundance isn't spiritual?

Since I'm also getting free from fear of what people think, I'm taking a risk and sharing my money goal here on my blog and have committed to being appropriately transparent with my process in this 30-Day Miracle challenge. My initial goal I set at the beginning of the AFT clearing last night was: "I earn $10,000/mo thru my AT business thru speaking engagements, clients, and classes."

As Dr. Perkus led us through the 12 steps, I felt things like fear, hopelessness and shame; heard negative voices telling me that I'm asking for too much, that I'm afraid, that people will find out I'm a fraud, that I might get attacked; and remembered times in the past when I'd felt the same way.  Each round brought more clarity and confidence.

In the last round, God spoke to my heart and said: "You're the real deal. People love and trust you." Instantly, the light spread through my body and a huge weight was lifted off of my heart. I choose to align with God's word to me.

A small adjustment to my goal, in the form of another zero, came to me when it was time to create our affirmations. God is really wanting me to dream big and stretch myself in this area, so my new goal is "I receive $100,000 by November 30th for my AFT and Young Living expertise."

My affirmation that I'm declaring over myself this week twice a day based on the truth I heard from God is "Because I am the real deal and people love me, I receive $100,000 by November 30th for my AFT and Young Living expertise!"

Are you ready to dream big and set your own bodacious goal? There's still time to join me and a host of others in the 30-Day Miracle challenge.  Registration is open through the end of the week.  You can go back and watch the replay from Sunday's class.  Along with a weekly class, there will be Facebook live sessions with Dr. Perkus and other leaders in the secret Facebook group.  Don't have the oils? I can help you with that!  Email me and I will help you get set up with a mini AFT kit.
