Day 5: Granola and the 30-Day Miracle Challenge with AFT

Today I woke with less chatter in my head and more space for peace. There's definitely something to say for being a part of a group all moving towards releasing blocks and baggage.  And it's not like anyone is going to give me a bad grade or punish me or lock me up if I don't get out of bed and do my affirmation and take steps towards my goal.  It's the knowing that others are in this journey with me that reminds me that it's worth doing and benefits everyone when I stick to my commitment.

I had an easy time stating my affirmation and felt empowered once again in my goal.  I felt led to alter it just a bit again: "Because I am the real deal and Jesus loves me and strengthens me, I am a burning bush and I receive $100,000 for my AFT and YL expertise by November 30, 2017."

Bam.

I'll explain the burning bush reference another day because in this post I want to back up to something that happened yesterday tied to an experience I had at Young Living Convention in June.

It was the last day, and I was standing in line to pick up some Einkorn Granola I had ordered. (want to order some? Ask me how!). I learned a lot standing in that line…such as "Don't wait until the last day to order product you can easily order when you get home."  Seriously, the line was H-O-U-R-S long.

I stayed in the line thinking it was going to speed up at any moment. I'm hopeful like that. My friend Lucy had posted earlier in the day about sharing AFT with anyone at convention she met or who would listen to her. Lucy is vivacious and outgoing and commands an audience when she speaks. Me…well I'm pretty introverted and shy and afraid that people won't want to talk to me (yes, I know I need to AFT that…I'm working on it! Lol). In spite of that, I decided to take a risk

I looked around the line to see who I might could strike up a conversation with.  The two girls in front of me seemed friendly and open, so I introduced myself and asked them if they had ever heard of the Aroma Freedom Technique.  As I began to explain about AFT, the woman (I'll call her Jane) in front of them leaned in to hear what I was saying, so I invited her to join in with us. I guided them in setting their intentions and goals and then led them through the steps. My heart never ceases to fill with gratitude as I watch the weight of limiting beliefs and mindsets and heavy emotions fall off. This time was no different.

The girls moved quickly through the steps and felt solid in their affirmations, so I moved to go a little deeper with Jane as she seemed a little stuck. I ministered to her for a few more minutes and the block disintegrated and her whole body lightened with the realization that she could reach her goal because she had value and worth and people needed to hear what she had to say. It was a powerful transformation to witness!

At that moment, I knew why I had gotten in line on the last day of convention to pick up a few bags of granola: Jane needed a touch from the Lord, and He chose me to be His vessel in that moment. I realized my work was done, hugged Jane goodbye, and left my place in line. I would order granola again another day.

Fast forward to yesterday, a package arrived in the mail from Young Living. I was perplexed as I couldn't recall ordering anything that hadn't already arrived. I opened the box to find three bags of Einkorn Granola. Puzzled, I looked at the invoice, wondering why I had gotten this order of granola so many months after convention when I thought it had been cancelled…Then I remembered: just a few days ago, Jane had contacted me on Facebook to tell me that she had ranked Silver (the goal she had set in our impromptu AFT session) and to be expecting a gift.

The timing of the granola couldn't have been better. It was like a kiss from God to remind me that even when things don't make sense (I waited in that line for three hours and walked away without my granola order…) He doesn't forget. In fact, when the granola arrived, I really needed a snack. So I made myself a granola, berry, yogurt sundae and savored each bite as my body received the nourishment and my soul was filled as with the richest of foods.

I'm inspired to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Tonight I will continue with my affirmation, breathing in my Believe oil, and stating it with confidence and conviction. I have a big weekend ahead of me, trusting the Lord to open more doors for me to touch whoever He puts in my path, and be the burning bush with His presence on fire inside of me.

"Because I am the real deal and Jesus loves me and strengthens me, I am a burning bush and receive $100,000 for my AFT and YL expertise by November 30, 2017!"
