Day 21: Making money in my sleep...30-Day Miracle Challenge with AFT

It's almost December and the weather here is superbly amazing…sunny skies and short sleeves.

As I slept, I moved closer to my goal - someone purchased AFT session gift certificates. There have been other signs of income moving along through class requests, a new business builder on my YL team, new clients, and lucrative workshop ideas. I don't discount every small movement and am quick to show gratitude.

Before being thrust into the AFT limelight last spring, I heard Cristine Caine speak one Sunday at church, and a line in her sermon has become my anchoring point anytime I'm tempted to think any of this has anything to do with me: Favor is for purpose, not for status or position.

Anytime I'm tempted to begin to fret about income or how to jockey for position, I take a deep breath and remind myself that while AFT is bringing in income, any favor or success that I have has a specific Kingdom purpose. To pursue it in any other way is distraction at best and destructive at worst.

So while I'm grateful for the income, grateful for the steps towards my goal, I know that there is a greater Kingdom purpose at work which is both freeing and sobering in a way that brings the focus and intentionality that is needed.

Having this AFT 30-Day Miracle goal in the forefront of my mind has prompted me to consider how I approach spending, my mindsets about money, how I practice generosity, how I communicate with my children about our resources. If I truly have everything I need in abundance to do everything that God has ordained for me to do (purpose), then there is never any need for me to become anxious about provision, guilty about spending, or fearful about our financial future.

This morning after dropping my son at the Water Gardens for his weekly parkour training with his buddies (catch him on YouTube here) my daughter and I walked around downtown a bit, stopping in at an upscale clothing store. As I turned over a tag to glance at the price, I wondered what it would be like to purchase clothing without batting an eye. I felt somewhat self-conscious in my Walmart t-shirt and Lularoe leggings, like that shopping scene in Pretty Woman, except this is Fort Worth, TX and no one was rude to me.

Internally I noticed a difference. I didn't gasp at the price, didn't judge the people shopping there (as in "who in the world pays prices like these for clothes???"), didn't think it far-fetched that I could walk in there one day soon and buy clothes without it setting me back a year.

Earlier in the day, I dreamed about the generous gifts I can give, the charitable donations I can make, and the new floors I am going to get when I start receiving $100,000 monthly beginning November 30, 2017.

I still notice a slight discomfort at typing those words and a fear of being judged for my plans, condemned for my goal choice, and the niggly voice in the back of my head that asks what I'm going to do if nothing happens on November 30, 2017.

However, the journey thus far has been rich with growth and increased freedom. Since the actual challenge ends on December 5th, I'm expecting lots of upgrades to continue to roll in.

Changing your mindset is simple with the Aroma Freedom Technique. Taking action with the new mindsets takes work, but once the blocks are cleared, the work is productive and energizing, enticing one to continue clearing the path for even more growth, abundance, and freedom!

As I head to bed tonight, I once again do my affirmation:

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's gifts!
